Saliva of six individual healthy human donors was measured. The human Axl concentration of detected samples was determined to be 139.3 pg/mL with a range of 70.3 - 202.4 pg/mL.

Urine of six individual healthy human donors was measured. The human Axl concentration of detected samples was determined to be 80,064.8 pg/mL with a range of 37,803.8 - 140,502.0 pg/mL.

U-87 MG human glioblastoma/astrocytoma cells were cultured in MEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, 2 mM L-glutamine, 100 U/mL penicillin, 100 μg/mL streptomycin sulfate, and 1 mM sodium pyruvate, until confluent. An aliquot of the cell culture supernate was removed, assayed for human Axl, and measured 1,712.6 pg/mL.

Cerebrospinal fluid of one human donor was measured. The Axl concentration of detected samples was determined to be 2,138.1 pg/mL.

Serum of six individual healthy human donors was measured. The human Axl concentration of detected samples was determined to be 38,035.1 pg/mL with a range of 26,053.7 - 60,164.0 pg/mL.
