背景介绍

DNASE2, or 'acid DNase,' hydrolyzes DNA under acidic conditions and is one of 2 distinct mammalian DNases. It hydrolyzes DNA under acidic conditions with a preference for double-stranded DNA. It has a key role in the degradation of nuclear DNA in cellular apoptosis during development [PMID:18812394]. Besieds, it is necessary for proper fetal development and for definitive erythropoiesis in fetal liver, where it degrades nuclear DNA expelled from erythroid precursor cells. It has been demonstrated to be responsible forDNA degradation in apoptotic cells engulfed by macrophages and exogenous DNA on the skin surface [PMID:23019102]. DNASE2 exists some isoforms with MV 39 and 34 kDa. (PMID: 14644493)
