Background Information
TRIP10 (thyroid hormone receptor interactor 10), also known as CIP4 (Cdc42-interacting protein 4), is a novel adaptor protein which may be invloved in plasma membrane remodeling. CIP4 has been reported to negatively regulate glucose uptake by promoting GLUT4 endocytosis in muscle cells.
