背景介绍
PPAP2C(phosphatidic acid phosphatase type 2C) is also named as PAP2C, LPP2, PAP-2c, PAP2-g. PPAP2C is a member of the phosphatidic acid phosphatase family of enzymes that regulate the dephosphorylation of lipid phosphates and the gene appears to be particularly highly expressed in breast carcinoma, dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma, fibromatosis, synovial sarcoma, and neurofibroma(PMID:19139135). It has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing and the full length protein has a glycosylation site.
