背景介绍

ZC3H18, also named as NHN1, has two CCCH zinc finger domains. It is not essential in bloodstream forms, but in an in vitro model of differentiation. ZC3H18 recruites the TREX protein for SEP1-mediated mRNA export. The gene ZC3H18 has some isoforms with calculated MW 160 kDa and 84 kDa. With phospho modification, the MW of ZC3H18 is about 150 kDa in WB detection.
